Afternoon Ride

Afternoon Ride, 5x7
purchase

I found this red motorcycle parked in front of the Firehouse Grill in Malvern. It is one of an endless number of cycles we saw while in Ohio. The rolling countryside and summer sunshine no doubt contributed to their ubiquity.

Wonderful painting Stephen. I love your use of colour with the harmonious contrast you've created. We are seeing similar scenes here with summer bringing biking tourists to our Island. Cheers!

Another bold image. When looking at the enlarged picture, you can see that it is loosely painted, but all the detail that is needed to define the shapes and shadows is there. Love it!

Excellent rendering of this motorcycle, Stephen. My husband has a Honda ST 1300, and has been asking me to paint it for him (paint a picture of the bike, not paint on the bike)... Anyway, you are going to be a tough act to follow if I try.
