Escape in Georgetown

Escape, 8 x 10

Belated Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there. I hope you had a great weekend! This post and the previous one depict architectural landmarks in downtown Georgetown, Texas. I'll be posting a third one tomorrow. If interested in any of these paintings, please contact Through the Looking Glass Gallery in Georgetown. Just click the link for contact information.

Je suis très admirative... Un travail merveilleux.
Les jeux de lumières et d'ombres sont remarquables. Quelles belles façades...
Je vous félicite.
Gros bisous à vous.

These colors and the mood are perfect. Love these two Georgetown paintings. The last bits of light in this piece make for great drama. Both are SO nice.
Thanks for your kind comments on my blog Stephen.

Love these vignettes of small town life. Great values in this one and perfect shadow color. Also enjoyed the Palace Theatre. So glad they are restoring these.

Hello, Stephen. Just finished my first look-through of your beautiful work on your blog and website, so my comment doesn't relate to this post, alone. Really nice work! I'm an instant fan. I'll be back for more!
