Morning Coffee

Morning Coffee, 8x10
SOLD

Fall has arrived in central Texas and after a typically long and hot summer, the locals came out in droves last Saturday to enjoy the cool, dry air and bright blue skies. This is Jo's, a popular spot along Austin's South Congress Avenue. It's a great place to read the paper over coffee or to just sit and watch this happening neighborhood wake up and come alive.

the composition with that lime green "sweet spot" and 'jo's' is really nice. I like the simplicity of the trees and brushwork here too.

Great painting. I think I like the trees best.

I really like the bright sunny feel to this picture...even the suggested people in the window are bathed in sunlight. I think I want to come there and get away from our dreary November!

How I wish we had that weather here in Rhode Island!

really nice Stephen. Makes one want to go get a cup of coffee. My day starts with Kathys Koffee in Dubois. A great place to read the paper[yesterdays]and get all the news that only a small town like Dubois, Wyoming can contain. Where the fish are biting. Who has run into a grizzly. All that good important stuff.

Love it Stephen! Your 'exteriors' are really spot on for color and composition... well done!

I love this - love the handling of the trees, the slight value shift from the front to the side of Jo's - well done -
